While the Texas Children’s Choir has been invited to perform at some very renowned events, none were as prestigious as the ceremony at Normandy American Cemetery France, commemorating the anniversary of the historic D-Day Invasion. The children first performed there in 2004, and they returned to sing at the event’s 70th anniversary in June of 2014.
Taking a team of 60 young singers, plus volunteer staff and sound equipment, was no light undertaking. We are actively seeking to provide opportunities for our singers to perform choral music in support of civic, sacred, military and cultural events in local, national and international venues, and we rely on community support from both businesses and individuals to aid in the funding of our mission. We welcome you to join forces with the choir through either a matching pledge or a donation.
